Notice of Meeting to Adjourn the Board of Review Due to Incomplete Assessment Roll: Town of Richmond, St. Croix County The Board of Review will meet on the 9th day of May, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Richmond Town Hall, 1428 100th St. for the purpose of calling the Board of Review into session during the 45 day period beginning on the 4th Monday of April, pursuant to Wis. Stat. 70.47(1). Due to the fact the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Board of Review will be immediately adjourned until Monday, August 19, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Open Book will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Notice of the next Board of Review meeting will be published on the Town website, and posted at the Town Hall, Bob & Steve’s Amoco, and River Feeds. When will I receive my absentee ballot?
Ballots will mail beginning on September 17th and will continue through October 29th

Is it safe to mail my ballot?
Our local Post Office did an excellent job during the last election. Ballots were received within a couple days of mailing. If you would rather hand-deliver your ballot, we are installing a secure ballot drop box at the Town Hall around Oct 1st. You may also deliver your ballot to the clerk’s office, or to the polls (until 8 pm) on election day.

Can I vote early in person?
Yes, early in person absentee voting begins October 20th and runs through Halloween. You may also register to vote (in person) during this time period. Here are the days and hours.

How do I request an absentee ballot?
Visit myvote.wi.gov to request a ballot, or register to vote. Any questions, call the clerk at 715-808-1795 or email [email protected]

Important Dates:

October 6 – Last day to establish residency for 28 day requirement to vote in the Township. (used to be 10 days)

October 14-Last day to register to vote by mail or online. After this date, you must register in person at clerk’s office or on election day.

October 20-In person absentee voting begins

October 29-5:00 pm-Deadline to request absentee ballot by mail

October 30-Deadline 5:00 pm to register to vote in clerk’s office

October 31st-Last day to vote in person at the clerk’s office

November 3-Polls open 7 am to 8 pm. Absentee ballots can be delivered until 8 pm.
